Co-Captain

Hi everyone! My name is Cassie and I am the Senior Co-Captain this year! I've been a competitive dancer since I was three, and it has been one of my favorite things to do. I love to tap, but I have trained in all styles including pom, hip hop, jazz, contemporary, lyrical, and ballet. This will be my fourth year on Ladybirds and I have loved every second from the dancing to my amaing teammates!

Hello! My name is Isa and I am the Junior Co-Captain of the Ladybirds this year. I actually did not come from a competitive dance background, but I was a competitive rhythmic gymnast from ages 5-17, and practiced ballet regularly as part of my gymnastics training! It is so special to me how every member of the Ladybirds brings their own unique background and love for dance to the team! I have absolutely loved dancing with the Ladybirds and cannot wait to keep learning and growing with our amazing group.

Co-Treasurer

My name is Emily and I am so excited for my second year as a Ladybird! I have danced competitively for the last 15 years. I love to perform Pom at games (a style that I was introduced to since joining the team). I love all things jazzy and upbeat but I have also been trained in contemporary, lyrical, tap, and ballet. Performing and meeting with the team for practices has been such a gift and helps me to be balanced and active throughout the academic year. I love to share school spirit with the Hopkins community and I hope to see you all at O-show and games this year!

Hello!! My name is Addi and I'm co-treasurer this year! I have been a dancer since I was three and eventually became a dance teacher for 2 years. I'm trained in most styles such as: ballet, lyrical, contemporary, jazz and tap. My favorite styles are tap and pointe! This is my second year on Ladybirds and I've loved every second of it!!

Secretary

My name is Grace and I am the Ladybirds Dance Team Secretary. This is my sophomore year and second year on the team! I did recreational dance starting in third grade but focused on high school/competitive cheerleading until coming to Hopkins. I love pom and contemporary so I’m excited to start choreographing pieces for our team. I love the Ladybirds and all of the close friends it has brought me.

Gameday Coordinator

Hi everyone, my name is Becca and I’m the game day coordinator this year. I’ve been dancing on and off since I was little, and Ladybirds is definitely my favorite dance experience and one of the best parts of my Hopkins experience. My favorite dance style is Pom and I love gamedays, but jazz and contemporary are a close second and third. This is my fourth year on the team and I can’t wait to see what memories I make with the girls this year!

Hi! My name is Emily Zhang and I’m a junior! I’ve been a part of the Ladybirds since my freshman year. I am trained in ballet and have been dancing since I was 4 years old. I didn’t get to explore other styles until I joined the dance team and I’ve really loved learning from the other girls. My favorite part about being on the team is getting to perform dances completely choreographed by my teammates!

Hello, I’m Fiona, and I’m super excited for my second year as a Ladybird! I’ve trained competitively in jazz, Latin ballroom, and contemporary, but I also love dancing ballet and lyrical. I’ve loved every second of being on the team, especially because of the amazing people and the opportunity to perform and compete together!
