Hi everyone! My name is Katie and I am a senior mechanical engineering major and co-capitain of the ladybirds. My favorite style of dance is pom, which I had never done until I joined the ladybirds my freshman year. I have loved my time on the ladybirds; it has been a highlight of my college experience! This team is an amazing group of women who have become my best friends.

Hi I'm Samantha, a senior on the Ladybirds. Dance has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember so I was super excited about joining a dance team at JHU. I can honestly say that the Ladybirds have made my college experience infinitely better - my teammates have become some of my best friends and practices + team-bonding nights are the highlights of my week.

Hi! My name is Teresa Dong and this will be my second year on Ladybirds. I am currently a sophomore majoring in PH and neuroscience and am also the secretary of the team. Despite last year being primarily virtual, the team still made us feel so welcomed and truly feels like a second family to me! I am looking forward to continue dancing with everyone (hopefully more in person) and making memories in the coming seasons!

Hi! I'm Abena and I'm a senior on the Ladybirds team studying Film & Media Studies and Psychology. Unlike a lot of other girls, I started dancing really late in life and I've been in love with dance ever since! It's never too late to start something because you never know if it'll be your passion! After joining Ladybirds, I've met the best group of friends I could possibly have and I'm so happy I get to spend my time with these goofballs.
