About Us
Blood Cancer United (BCU) is a student organization at Johns Hopkins dedicated to curing blood cancer and improving the quality of life of patients and their families. We bring students together to raise awareness, fundraise for research, and connect with the blood cancer community through education, advocacy, and service.
Whether you're passionate about public health, looking to get involved in fundraising and event planning, or just want to make a difference on campus, BCU has a place for you. Members can join one of our three committees—Fundraising, Volunteer, or Education & Advocacy—and get hands-on experience organizing events like guest speaker panels, bake sales, BINGO nights, and volunteer opportunities, all while building community and supporting a cause that touches so many lives.
