Our Goals

Our goal is to raise awareness of patient-centered care through holistic nursing strategies, improving the quality of life for those with serious or life-threatening illnesses like cancer, psychiatric and substance use disorders, sickle cell anemia, Alzheimer’s, COPD, and heart disease. We aim to inspire a passion for advocacy in optimizing symptom and pain management. We cultivate networking and collaboration opportunities that align with the ethos of Palliative Care, and we foster ongoing connections with expert RNs and other student groups to enrich campus culture. We are committed to using creative approaches to enhance nursing students' understanding of Hospice and Palliative Care.
