Each month, Hopkins Dining will feature a variety of food holidays to break the monotony of the everyday menu offerings. The national food holiday we will feature this month is National Pancake Day! Celebrate with a mini pancake bar at Hopkins Café, Nolan's on 33rd and Peabody Dining Hall.

Dining hall entry is required for this event, payment is accepted in meal swipes, Dining Dollars, Jcash and Credit.

The Hopkins Lecture Series (in partnership with the SNF Agora Institute and the Aronson Center for International Studies) is excited to present an informal debate and conversation about the future of the American two-party system with political commentators Adam Kinzinger (former United States Representative for Illinois' 16th district) and Andrew Yang (entrepreneur, former presidential candidate, founder of the Forward Party)

For this living Off-Campus Workshop, the Behavioral Health Crisis Support Team (BHCST) will join us to help students sharpen their communication skills and learn tools to help foster positive roommate relationships for a peaceful living environment.

Attend a performance through the HopArt program, free of cost, thanks to the Parent's Fund. RSVP to be entered into the ticket lottery. Participants will be confirmed 5-7 days before each event. Students will attend with faculty or staff chaperones, enjoy a meal out, and transportation is provided to and from JHU. Available to undergraduates only.

A newly free man, Herald Loomis begins his search for his wife, for peace, and his lost identity. This “spellbinding” play is the second show in the exciting Baltimore August Wilson Celebration, a collaborative project of the Baltimore theatre community, presenting all Wilson’s American Century Cycle plays.

Departure for this program will be at 1pm for the 2pm performance, with optional dinner after the concert. Registration to enter the lottery ends Sept 13 at noon.

Gentle Gains is a weight management group focused on behavior and lifestyle changes hosted by Primary Care Practitioners Rayven Nairn, RDN, and Katie Kloss, CRNP. POTUS: or Behind Every Great Dumbass are Seven Women Trying to Keep Him Alive . A provocative political satire. What could be more fitting than kicking off a season during an election year with a riotous satire? Join us for this Broadway hit about seven brazen women who must save a bumbling President and the world from falling apart (again). With intelligence, wit, and a shocking amount of audacity, these women will have you asking the eternal question, “Why isn’t she President?”

Departure for this program will be at 12pm for the 1pm performance, with optional dinner after the concert. Registration to enter the lottery ends Sept 6 at noon.

This is the CSA Mid-Autumn Festival Lantern Making Event. Come and learn how to make paper lanterns and Chinese calligraphy. There will also be trivia questions about the Chinese Mid-Autumn Festival. You can meet and talk with CSA members.

Welcome Back Celebration is a bi-annual event that supports students who have taken time away from the university and would like to connect with others and find community, campus resources, and connections.

The Office of Student Outreach and Support and Academic Advising are very excited to invite you to our Welcome Back Celebration on Thursday, September 12, 2024 in Scotts-Bates Commons, Salon C from 6-7:30 PM.

The Student Leadership Conference will be an engaging and developmental experience for our student leaders. Throughout this experience our student leaders will engage in sessions covering Dialogue and Conflict Resolution, Membership Engagement, Inclusive Leadership, Civic Leadership and a variety of other topics. This conference will provide students the opportunities to share their experiences as leaders at JHU, build relationships with other student leaders, and acquire skills that will enable them to be exemplary leaders not only in their organizations but also in the JHU community!
