Our mission is to foster a sense of community among the South Asian student body and beyond, educating people and celebrating South Asian culture. As individuals move out of their homes for the first time and come to college, SASH strives to provide a support network connecting people to home through culture.

SASH also organizes various cultural events, community discussions and community service opportunities to continue to learn and be involved in the South Asian community. This is offered to all members of the Hopkins community.

We collaborate with other cultural organizations at Hopkins to foster relationships in the larger community and increase cultural awareness.
