Student Activities Commission (SAC)

What We Do

The Student Activities Commission, or SAC, is an appointed body of 8 voting members. We oversee the annual budget allocation as well as monthly grants. SAC now works closely with the Finance Committee of SGA to allocate funds. SAC provides funding in two main ways: monthly grants and the annual allocation. See below for more information. Organizations must re-register and submit a budget request in order to receive funding. SAC is available for any questions or concerns at, or review our guidelines here

Monthly Grants

The SAC offers monthly grants to provide supplemental funding for new initiatives, unforeseen expenses and newly approved organizations

Visit the Grants page for more information about SAC monthly grants and other funding opportunities. The SAC Monthly Grant is available on Hopkins Groups. Go to your group page, create budget, and then choose Monthly Grant 2021. The Monthly Grant form is the same excel sheet as the semester allocations.

Semester Budget Info
