About Us

SLAM was founded in 2002 based on the desire to express oneself through performance alongside building a community that fosters confidence, acceptance, and teamwork. We hold ourselves to the standard of constantly learning from one another, remaining open-minded, and being unafraid to go out of our comfort zones. Each of our members brings a unique talent and background to our team, and we encourage each other to explore all aspects of dance, growing both together and individually. SLAM is a family brought together by our shared love for dance, and we hope to contribute that passion to our hip-hop community.
