Details
Participants will enjoy walking among the beautiful cherry blossoms along the Tidal Basin, exploring the city, and attending Petalpalooza, a festival filled with live music, art installations, activities, and a spectacular fireworks show over the Anacostia River.
As part of this trip, students can participate in our Photography Contest - Capture the beauty of the blossoms - and don’t forget to include yourself and fellow students! We want to see you in the moment, not just the scenery. 🌸✨ The best photos will win prizes and be featured on our social media pages!
🚆 Train Trip Provided, Participants must meet at Baltimore Penn Station by 7:45 AM. The train will depart at 9:30 AM and return from Union Station, DC at 9:30 PM the same evening.
🌿 Optional: White House Spring Garden Tour- If interested, participants must collect their own free timed-entry tickets by lining up at the White House Visitor Center (tickets are not provided by the organizing team). The tour offers a rare opportunity to view the White House gardens and historic landscape.
🎆 End the day at Petalpalooza- a FREE outdoor festival featuring live performances, art, and a stunning fireworks show at 8:30 PM.
