Wind Ensemble Director

Sarah Culp is currently a Doctor of Musical Arts student at the Peabody Conservatory of the Johns Hopkins University. Prior to returning to university on a full time basis, she was the Director of Bands at Manchester Township High school in Manchester NJ from 2016-2023. Sarah was recently appointed music director and Head Conductor of the Hunt Valley Wind Ensemble in 2024, and is also the Director of the JHU Wind Ensemble. She earned her undergraduate degree in Music Education with a concentration in classical trumpet in 2013 from the William Paterson University of New Jersey, and a Masters Degree in Music Education in 2019 Rutgers University.
