Join us at the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP) 2024 JHU Out of the Darkness Walk! The Out of the Darkness Walk is an annual gathering to support mental health awareness, suicide prevention, community connectedness, and hope. The purpose is for all members of the university community to know that they are not alone and that Johns Hopkins cares about their well-being. This event is free and open to the public. The event will include speakers, performers, resource tables, and a 2.3 mile walk around the JHU Homewood campus. Doors open at 9:30am. Event begins at 10am. To register a team or to join a team, please go to: http://tinyurl.com/OOTDW2024.

Please contact Megan Tassinari (event organizer) at mtassin1@jh.edu at least one week prior to the event to request disability accommodations. In all situations, a good faith effort (up until the time of the event) will be made to provide accommodations.”
