Join us at the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP) 2024 JHU Out of the Darkness Walk! The Out of the Darkness Walk is an annual gathering to support mental health awareness, suicide prevention, community connectedness, and hope. The purpose is for all members of the university community to know that they are not alone and that Johns Hopkins cares about their well-being. This event is free and open to the public. The event will include speakers, performers, resource tables, and a 2.3 mile walk around the JHU Homewood campus. Doors open at 9:30am. Event begins at 10am. Holi is a famous and significant Hindu festival celebrated as the Festival of Colours, Love, and Spring. It honors the eternal and divine love of the deities Radha and Krishna. Additionally, the day signifies the triumph of good over evil, as it commemorates the victory of Vishnu as Narasimha over Hiranyakashipu.
