Blue Jay Welcome Weeks: Fall 2025

We can't wait to see you on your Blue Jay Community Walk—a guided experience designed to help you explore the neighborhood surrounding Johns Hopkins University. Led by student leaders, this walk will introduce you to key landmarks, local resources, and transportation options in and around Charles Village. Along the way, you’ll gain insight into the history, diversity, and culture of the surrounding Baltimore community and learn how to navigate the area safely and responsibly.

This walk will also highlight opportunities for civic engagement through the Center for Social Concern and local partners, encouraging you to see yourself as both a Hopkins student and a member of the broader Baltimore community. Come ready to explore, connect, and begin your journey as an engaged Blue Jay!

Join us at the Student Center for the first-ever Sophomore September Resource Fair! Full of resources, networking, and chances to win amazing prizes! Enter to win prizes by visiting booths, collecting stamps, and talking with different organizations! Learn all about opportunities to boost your resume and take advantage of your time at Hopkins! First 100 attendees get a bonus entry for all raffles. 

Kick-off the new academic year with Blue Jay Bash 2025! Join Hopkins Dining for an outdoor food festival featuring a street food menu, outdoor games, music and more. 

This event will replace normal dinner service at Hopkins Café & Nolan's on 33rd. Levering Kitchens will be open for normal service with meal exchange options available from 2-8pm. Kosher meals will be available at the event upon request. 

The event is included in student meal plans and is open to undergraduate students only; advanced registration is required via Hopkins Groups. The event rain date is scheduled for Monday, September 8. Additional communication will follow as needed.

Celebrate Constitution Day with us as we explore the past, present, and future. We will have small group discussions about the Constitution’s lasting impact on our society, the importance of understanding court interpretations, and how we can each contribute to constructive dialogue about the role of the constitution in our daily lives.

Shriver performance will be followed by a meet and greet recruiting event in the Student Center (room 204), around 9:00pm, once the show ends.

Following the 7pm Shriver OShow performance, this event will be an opportunity to meet the dance groups, sign up to participate, and more. This event will start at approximately 8:30pm, once the Shriver OShow is finished!

Join us for the Student Involvement Fair on Friday, August 29 from 2–5 PM on Wyman Quad! This year, we’re excited to reimagine the fair with a focus on accessibility. Hosting the event outdoors will allow for better mobility and flow, making it easier for everyone to engage with student organizations. In addition, a Virtual Involvement Fair will run for two weeks following the event, providing even more ways to discover and connect with campus groups.
