The Basics
The Student Government Association at Johns Hopkins University is composed of 3 branches:
- The Executive Branch, composed of the Student Body President and their Cabinet, serves as the internal leadership of the SGA, supports daily functions, and executes acts of the Senate
- The Legislative Branch, composed of the Senate, advocates for students to administration and recognizes and funds student organizations
- The Judicial Branch, composed of the Judiciary Board and Committee on Student Elections, interprets guiding documents and SGA disputes
