Each rider can receive up to X rides per month

Discount per ride: $XX (minimum $20 per ride)

Time Window

Rides valid only during designated hours on specified days

Geographic Coverage

Rides limited to/from Homewood campus (½ mile radius) and approved service sites

Ride Types

Any Lyft car type allowed (XL, Economy, etc.)

Notify CSC if you want to restrict certain vehicle types

Cost Coverage

nly the exact cost of the ride is charged to your student group’s budget. Be aware of pricing fluctuations during peak hours

FAQs & Additional Notes

With rich modal and notification functionality and a robust suite of options, Stack makes building feature-heavy pages simple and enjoyable.

Credit Reset

Ride credits reset 1st day of each month

Budget Exhaustion

If your student org lacks funds, you cannot use the program

Groups may apply for CSC Supplemental Grant via Hopkins Groups

Contact your ARC Commissioner or CSC Staff Advisor for grant guidance

Tips

Optional, charged to personal card

Some drivers accept Venmo or CashApp

Delays

Group members have up to 24 hours to close out rides

After 24 hours, rides automatically close

HopVans

students are to complete a 2-step process to be HopVan certified and drive the vehicles from the campus to the site, and then return to the South Garage

Students must complete an online training portion

Students also must schedule and complete a test drive

General rental costs are $20 per day plus $0.75 per mile driven

CSC Student Orgs are ONLY charged the mileage rate | $0.75 per mile driven

Can be seen as a more cost-effective approach to transportation

Major item to note is that many times HopVan charges do not show up in our system until about a month or two after its use

Charges are then shown on student orgs’ HopkinsGroups account
