Wellness Leader 2026-2027

The JUMP Wellness Program focuses on building a community that prioritizes wellness and supports members in adopting healthy habits. It offers the opportunity for members to engage in peer led activities and access resources that support their overall well-being. A huge emphasis is placed on designing programming that allows members to step away and disconnect from academic and professional obligations to connect with peers in a safe and welcoming environment while learning and engaging in wellness practices.

Eligibility:

  • Active JUMP member
  • Sophomore -Senior (2029, 2028, 2027)
  • 3.0 minimum cumulative GPA
  • Committed to building community within JUMP and being a representative of the Program
  • Passionate about the importance of wellness to our everyday lives

Position Requirements:

  • Attend Virtual Training: May 18 - 20, 2026
  • Attend monthly staff meetings during the Fall and Spring semesters
  • Attend JUMP Signature events
  • Maintain JUMP Active membership

Leader Duties:

  • Member Connection: Welcome email and video to the JUMP community
  • Brainstorm, plan, and facilitate programming that emphasizes wellness, builds community, and supports learning wellness practices
  • Submit program proposals and budget
  • Team hosts five wellness events per semester
  • Utilize Member Contact Form to report any members of concern
  • Represent JUMP at campus or partner events, including sharing a student testimonial at JUMP-Start sessions

Time Commitment: up to 20 hours per semester

Stipend: $300 per semester

Policy Note:

  • JUMP members are limited to one leadership position at a time within the JUMP Program.
  • Members may serve in the Wellness Leader position for up to two (2) academic years (as approved).
