Mission
The Hopkins Medical Orchestra (HMO) is a community which supports musical activities on the East Baltimore medical campus. The organization seeks to organize musical ensembles and performance opportunities, with a music direction specifically focused on exploring the role of music in medicine for the wellbeing of patients, providers, and community. Our aim is to establish a community orchestra that is both inclusive and produces excellent music. Our participants include medical students, graduate students, healthcare professionals, faculty and staff, and community members.

Our mission is to provide resources to graduate students and serve as the center for student policy. To do this, we work with university leaders, community members, and professional development groups within the university to provide opportunities for intellectual, professional, and social development to SOM graduates. We support and foster the needs of graduate students through offering discussion forums, funding opportunities, social events, and workshops to aid in many aspects of graduate student life including helping you learn how to find a job, network effectively, and communicate with your peers and mentors.

Mission
The TI exists to strengthen the intellectual formation at universities, in the Catholic Church, and in the wider public square. At JHMI, the TI promotes discussion on the intersection between faith and science and debate on the most pressing bioethical questions of our time. The thought of philosopher Thomas Aquinas is our touchstone. The TI is an academic institute of the Pontifical Faculty of the Immaculate Conception at the Dominican House of Studies in Washington, D.C.

Mission
Led by the Associate Dean for Graduate Biomedical Education, the Office of Graduate Biomedical Education (OGBE) promotes innovation in graduate biomedical education and supports graduate biomedical education by managing key central functions, developing and implementing initiatives to promote diversity in graduate biomedical education, and ensuring a positive learning environment for graduate students. OGBE is located within the Office of the Vice Dean for Education (OVDE), which is part of the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine (JHUSOM). In addition to its work with all SOM graduate programs on admissions, academic affairs, student affairs, and student diversity, OGBE includes the Center for Innovation in Graduate Biomedical Education (CIGBE), the Professional Development and Careers Office (PDCO), and the XDBio graduate program. The Office of Graduate Biomedical Education serves the needs of the graduate students throughout their education at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine.

The Office also works to increase diversity in the School of Medicine, organizes a Summer Internship Program for underrepresented undergraduate scientists, and works closely with the Johns Hopkins Graduate Student Association and other student groups.
