Doctoral Life Design Studio (DLDS)
The JHU Doctoral Life Design Studio (DLDS) provides resources, connections, and community to help Johns Hopkins doctoral students and postdoctoral scholars explore opportunities, develop essential skills, and achieve professional goals. Through workshops, office hours, and curated programs, DLDS equips students with the tools to make informed decisions, expand their network, and take meaningful steps toward their future career path.
Biomedical Careers Initiative (BCI)
The BCI program aims to provide information and facilitate training and networking for the broad range of careers available to Ph.D. students upon graduation. The BCI offers short-term internships (approx. 3 months) in areas such as industry R&D, consulting, patent law, science outreach, science communication and more. Internships are paid opportunities, where the company will support your stipend and healthcare insurance.
Dr. Amy Braun recently spoke to us about the BCI Internsip Program at our December 2022 GSA General Body Meeting.
