Hopkins Shuttle System - Hopkins offers numerous shuttles for faculty, students and staff that provide safe and convenient transportation between campuses and to neighborhoods surrounding campus. Shuttles are free, and require ID badge to ride. Find the schedules here!

NEW! BlueJay Shuttle To & From East Baltimore Campus - Starting in 2022, Hopkins implemented a new free shuttle system for all students, faculty and staff that work at the East Baltimore Campus and that live within the service area. The shuttle runs every day from 5:00 am to 9:00 am and from 5:30 pm to 12:00 pm. The TransLoc app is required to use this shuttle service. Find more information here.
JHU SafeRide Program - This Lyft program is currently available or all pre-doctoral students in SOM, SON, and SPH who live within 1.5 mile radius of the East Baltimore Campus. The program offers free rides to and from your residence to campus between the hours of 12:00 am and 5:00 am every day. Find more information here.
Public Transportation - Baltimore has several methods of public transportation available, including the local buses, commuter buses, Light Rail, MARC train, and the metro. Find more information here.
NEW! MTA Transit Pass - PhD Student Employees covered by the Collective Bargaining Agreement are eligible to be reimbursed for the cost of Maryland Transit Administration (MTA) All Access College Transit Passes or U-Pass College Student Pass during periods where they have an appointment under this Agreement. Reimbursement requests must be submitted in accordance with applicable policy which will allow for reimbursement for two (2) purchased passes at once. Read more about it!
